Reservations
How much does it cost to rent a bike?
The easiest way to find out the rental cost is on the Bike Hire page of our website, where you can input your proposed hire dates, and view all available bikes and the rental costs for the different models for that period.
Is it necessary to reserve my bike in advance?
Yes, you will need to book your bike online prior to your rental start date, as we are a bike delivery/collection business, which means we will deliver your chosen bike directly to your holiday accommodation at the start of your hire, and collect it from you at the end. Bookings must be made at least one day in advance of your hire start date, to give us time to prep your bike and arrange delivery with you.
How do I reserve a bike?
The quickest way is to book your bike on the Bike Hire page of our website, which offers instant booking. Otherwise you can contact us with your request using the contact form or email address supplied on our website, or by WhatsApp on (0034) 672 330 251. We cannot accept same day bookings, all bikes must be booked at least one day before the hire starts.
Is there a minimum hire period?
The minimum hire period for our bikes is 3 days.
Can I have my bike the night before my reservation starts?
This is dependant on the previous hire. In the case where your bike is in stock, we can deliver it to you the evening before your hire starts, at no extra charge. Evening deliveries are usually made between 17:00 and 18:00... You can request this option via email or whats app once you have received your booking confirmation, but due to logistics, we are only able to confirm if this is possible one day in advance of your hire start.
If you try book this option when reserving your bike, our system will automatically charge you an additional day’s hire, so it’s important that you only book your bike starting from the morning of the first full day of hire, and send this as a separate request.
I have reserved a bike online but I haven't received a confirmation, what should I do?
The confirmation emails sometimes go straight to spam, so please check your spam folder first & if you still have nothing, please email us at evolutionbikeslanzarote@gmail.com for us to check and confirm your reservation. Please do not make another booking before doing this, as this could result in a duplicate booking.
Do I need to pay a deposit to reserve my bike?
No, to reserve your bike, you will need to enter your credit or debit card details into our booking system, but no payment will be taken until you are in receipt of your bike.
Do I need to pay a security/breakages deposit?
No. When you enter your credit card details into our encrypted system at the time of booking, this is sufficient as a security deposit. If you book via phone or email, we will ask you to enter your credit card details into our system on receipt of your bike.
I want to ride for multiple days but not necessarily consecutively, will I still get the multiple day discount?
We discount bikes for multiple day hire, but this only applies if the hire is over consecutive days. If you wish to break up the hire dates, the bike will be charged at the appropriate rate for each separate hire period: eg: If you wish to hire a bike for 6 days, but take a break in the middle, you would pay the cost of 3 days twice, and not pay the cheaper 6 day rate.
Bike Rental
Do you offer a bike delivery & collection service.
Yes, we are a fully online business, which means all bikes are delivered directly to and collected from, our clients’ holiday accommodation. In most cases this is a free service, for locations which are further out, there may be a delivery charge for this… details can be found here.

Morning deliveries start from 08:45am. Deliveries the night before the hire start are subject to availability of your bike and are made between 17:00 and 18:00. We send a courtesy WhatsApp reminder when we are en route to your holiday accommodation.
Collections are usually arranged with you via Whats App early in the morning on your last day of hire, and are normally made between 17:00 and 18:00. If you are flying home on the last day of hire and need an earlier pick up, just ask and we can arrange this with you.
